From Recruitment to Retention: Building a High-Quality Teacher and Leadership Pipeline Through Strategic Partnerships

At the 2026 Florida Charter School Conference + School Choice Summit, charter and private school leaders will explore innovative strategies to strengthen educator recruitment, certification, development, and retention.

Wednesday, November 18, 2026, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. –  Bonaire 3

The breakout session, From Recruitment to Retention: Building a High-Quality Teacher and Leadership Pipeline Through Strategic Partnerships, will examine how strategic partnerships can help school operators attract talented professionals from fields such as business, healthcare, military service, and STEM while providing the job-embedded preparation, coaching, mentorship, and certification support needed to help career changers succeed in the classroom.

Presented by Noble Education Initiative and the Florida Charter School Alliance, the session will provide practical strategies for building an integrated educator support system—from recruitment and certification to professional growth, endorsement attainment, and certification renewal. Participants will learn how partnerships with Educator Preparation Institutes (EPIs) can create accessible pathways to Florida educator certification while supporting candidates throughout their professional journey, as well as how ongoing professional learning partnerships can strengthen teacher retention and support educators beyond initial certification.

Together, these strategies can help schools develop and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified teachers and leaders.
