Scholarship Opportunity

We are offering 1 full scholarship to participate in this unique transformational leadership experience. The scholarship recipient will participate in a 5-day program focused on building global competitiveness in district leadership, exploring educational innovation, connecting with the community, and building professional networks in an international setting.

Active charter school superintendents, network leaders (e.g., CEOs/Executive Directors), and members of their central office leadership teams are encouraged to apply.

What to Expect

During this experience, you’ll engage in travel-based, hands-on learning. You will explore cultural sites to understand the United States’ role in Panamanian history, analyze new trends in STEM while exploring Lake Gatun and visiting the Panama Canal, participate in environmental service-learning projects, and visit the Embera village to learn more about this indigenous Panamanian people, their traditions, and contributions to history.

You will also expand your professional network as you collaborate with fellow administrators, exploring the importance of global competitiveness for your district and community – all while discovering the rich history and culture of Panama. You’ll be traveling with a national cohort of 30 peers from across the country.

Past scholarship recipients have included school leaders from across the United States, representing states such as Florida, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Massachusetts, and others.
