Homestead Principal Named FCSA Dynamic Leader of the Year

Mavericks in Education principal Dan Walke was named Dynamic Leader of the Year by the Florida Charter School Alliance (FCSA), a non-profit statewide charter school support organization. Mr. Walke was recognized for transforming the Mavericks in Education Homestead campus — raising academic results, implementing an educational program tailored to the needs of individual students, and creating a culture conductive to learning. “Students at this credit recover program are thriving and succeeding thanks to Mr. Walke and his team,” said FCSA executive director, Lynn Norman-Teck.
