Pahokee, FL – June 2, 2016 – Six charter school graduates at Everglades Preparatory Academy in Pahokee (West Palm Beach) received scholarships to attend college from Florida Crystals Corporation / the United Negro College Fund. The scholarships were presented during their graduation ceremony
in June 2016.
Everglades Preparatory Academy serves students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Founded by Emilia Fanjul, the schools offer a quality school choice option that include much-needed services to students, such as credit-recovery courses, smaller classroom sizes, and pathways to higher education for families living in the communities of Western Palm Beach County. Florida Crystals and the Fanjul family provide ongoing annual support to the school.
