FCSA Director of Government Affairs, Ralph Arza, along with community leaders and parents testified in support of the Somerset Academy replication application at the Port St.Lucie school board meeting on Sept. 22. The highest performing high school in the county, Somerset College Prep had submitted an application to open a middle school using a charter school model that has had incredible academic results in another county. The school board denied the replication application.
