The Florida Charter School Alliance:

Advancing the Charter School Movement in the Sunshine State

The expansion of educational choice and the charter school movement in Florida has been nothing short of remarkable. Since 1996, Florida charter schools have helped students make extraordinary academic gains, reduced the learning gap between minority and non-minority students, and provided parents with quality educational choices that also offer accountability and innovation.

The Florida Charter School Alliance (FCSA) is a powerful and dynamic force behind the charter school movement’s success. Founded in 2010, we are the only non-profit, member-supported organization whose primary focus is charter advocacy. We also provide critical support in a variety of ways, including:

Legislation/Advocacy

Public, Media, and Community Relations

School Administration Support

As the number of Florida charter schools increases (in alignment with the number of students attending them), the FCSA is well-poised to provide the vision, leadership, and direction required to maintain this robust growth.
