We are seeking a qualified and motivated High School Business Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction in business-related subjects such as entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting, and business management while preparing students with real-world skills for college and career readiness.
Plan and deliver standards-based lessons aligned with curriculum goals.
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes student achievement.
Assess student progress regularly through assignments, projects, and exams.
Integrate technology and real-world business applications into daily instruction.
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and required trainings.
Sponsor or support business-related student clubs or activities (e.g., DECA, entrepreneurship club, student business competitions).
Assist with school-wide events, testing administration, and other assigned duties.
Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and student success
Statement of Eligibility letter or Temporary Certificate
Professional Certificate in Business
Knowledge of business principles including finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, and management.
Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with educational technology, learning management systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Work is performed primarily in a classroom and school setting.
Requires adherence to school calendar, instructional hours, and occasional after-school meetings or events.
May involve participation in extracurricular activities, student competitions, or school functions outside regular work hours.
Frequent interaction with students, staff, parents, and community members.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the school day.
Ability to sit, bend, stoop, and reach as needed.
Ability to use a computer and other classroom technology for extended periods.
Visual and auditory ability to monitor classroom activities and communicate effectively.
