Revisions to the Fall 2017 testing schedule

September 20, 2017 — Below are further revisions to the Fall 2017 testing schedule as a result of the effects of Hurricane Irma, including revised end dates, paper-based accommodations pickup dates, and reporting time-frames for each assessment. This information was released today by the Florida Department of Education’s Bureau of K–12 Student Assessment.

Fall 2017 FSA ELA Retake

End Date

·        ELA Writing – Friday, October 6

·        ELA Reading – Friday, October 13

Pickup Dates

·        ELA Writing – Monday, October 9

·        ELA Reading – Monday, October 16

Reporting Timeframe

·        Results delivered prior to the return of district staff from Winter Break.  Exact dates TBD.

Fall 2017 FSA EOCs (Algebra 1 and Geometry)

End Date

·        Friday, October 6

Pickup Date

·        Monday, October 9

Reporting Timeframe

·        Prior to start of Winter EOC window. Exact dates TBD.

Fall 2017 FCAT 2.0 Reading Retake

End Date

·        Friday, October 20

Pickup Date

·        Tuesday, October 17

Reporting Timeframe

·        Late-November. Exact dates TBD.

 

Fall 2017 NGSSS EOCs (Biology 1, Civics, U.S. History)

End Date

·        Friday, October 20

Pickup Date

·        Tuesday, October 17

Reporting Timeframe

·        Prior to start of Winter EOC window. Exact dates TBD.

NOTE:  All districts may administer tests through these dates, regardless of when you began testing. If you prefer earlier pickup dates for paper-based accommodations, please contact DRC or Pearson to make arrangements.
